The various competitors of Virgin Atlantic who has come up with their own projects on carbon emission are CarbonChoice carbon offset program by United Airlines, CO2 offsetting program by Brussels Airlines, Offsetting CO2 by JetBlue and Carbon Offsetting project by Emirates Airlines (Jetblue, 2017).

CarbonChoice carbon offset program of United Airlines has been an integral part of the Corporate Social Responsibility policy of the company.
