Organizational culture is an important element that determines the productivity of the employees. This has been an established fact. Organizations being aware of this aspect try to create a situation that is favourable for all the stakeholders in order to enhance productivity. This is esp. difficult when newcomers join the organization. In this essay, the personal experience of working in an education organization has been compared to the academic theories and models. From this, comparative analysis and the practical implications of the academic learning theories have been analysed. Particularly, one important factor that has been analyses is the impact of the newcomers on the organizational culture. In this analysis, it will be investigated if the culture of the organization conforms to the newcomers of the organization or if they adapt to the exiting culture and norms. Reasons for these aspects will be discussed in detail in this analysis.
