Under the situations, the schools targeted and managed overcoming initial reactions in opposition to the change program. From this perspective, it is evident that there is systems theory concept applicable here. The essential concept of this theory focuses that organizations have open systems which consistently interact with the environment.

As organizations are open systems, they require importing resources as well as energy from their input (environment), transform these resources, export them back in the environment (output) and then repeat the cycle as newer resources start entering. In this organization also, negative feedback suggested there is a requirement for change. According to Lewis, (2011), 3 dimensions are provided over which change classification is possible. Initial changes might be small or major when it comes to their scope. Secondly, changes might be discursive or may have a material and thirdly change might involve planning or no planning. This change type nature is large, material and planned. Processes are ordered activities sets which are utilized for generating organizational output. In this change, a program was introduced as a process which could offer a specific task related pathway for improvement of student performance and improvement of collaborative effort from the tutors (Cameron et al, 2015). Therefore the traditional process being used based on a traditional program was proposed to be changed through use of a new program as a process.
