The biggest strength of integrating liberalism and diplomacy is that it helps in eliminating conflicts and differences between countries. As a result, mutual interests can have a crucial impact on governments to achieve their national objectives. However, not adhering to those principles can have a detrimental impact on a country’s economic stability and also its social welfare. An example of the correlation between Liberalism and International diplomacy is the conflict between Iraq and The USA. The government of USA always believed that Iraq needed government intervention for ensuring the peace and harmony of its country through diplomacy and liberalism. Though the USA did not want to get directly involved in the national matter of Iraq but due to the volatile condition of the economy, intervention was needed. Through liberalism and diplomacy, USA got itself involved in Iraq war and tried to save the country from terrorism and military dictatorship because according to experts, without US intervention, the situation at Iraq would have been worse (Kull, Ramsay& Lewis 2003).
The proponents of liberalism and international diplomacy have tried to form a civil society where representatives from all countries can work together and solve each other’s problems. It is certain that by implementing the core principles of Liberalism and international diplomacy, Countries can form a stable civil society where the future will be full of economic growth and independence and it will lead to formation of society where there will be no borders and possibly no conflicts.
