There have been quite a large number of changes that have taken place in the decade. Due to these reasons, it could be said that Public Policy Making is oriented towards the objectives and goals, aiming for outputs that could be measured and finally have a plan to resolve the issues through effective decision making. The objective is laid for the public policy based on the intensity of the problem that persists. The steps and resolution process is also defined accordingly. A public policy is required so as to lead the state or the people to move in a specific direction in order to implement the solution for the problem that has been persisting in the state or among the public. It has to define the rules, regulations and legal actions that may be associated with the problem. There are many ways in which the government develops or frames the public policy. It has been seen that sometimes the government takes the participation of the leaders and the public representatives. On the other hand the government may actively announce the issue and ask from public as an open forum either by physical organization of seminars or online for their votes. The decision on the method that has to be adopted will depend on the kind and the level of problem that is there. Based on the majority voting, the government may decide on the social and culturally viable ways of resolving the issues. The value and the impact that the public policy will create will depend on the kind and level of participation and decorum that has been shown for the public policy. It is not only government that decides the policy rather the legal system is actively involved in the enforcement of the public policy. Few of the agendas and the issues on which the Public Policies are developed are: ban on junk foods in schools and colleges, ensuring the physical education is made mandatory as a part of school curriculum, taking nutrition as a part of the curriculum in schools and allowing licenses for the gyms and other physical curriculum exercises in the community etc. Public Policy has to be developed with a clear voting and support by the public so that the problem is resolved with the support of all.
