Lack of information in the case of conducting the Utah games seems to be the main issue here. The Director of Utah Summer Games wanted to have information on athlete satisfaction, their parent’s opinions and more. Till date only anecdotal information were seen to be collected, and although much marketing was being done, the reach of such information and perception of participants as well as Cedar City residents were not yet collected properly. The research objectives are hence to collect data for these issues, 1) Attendee Satisfaction with opening ceremony aspects, 2) Should opening ceremony and price of admittance be changed, 3) USG participant satisfactions 4) Visitor participation in activities. Now all the objectives that are selected here does not seem to address one of the significant reasons on why the Utah games are being conducted which is that of increasing enrolment at Southern Utah University. “Sherratt’s belief was that if young athletes and their parents visited the campus and the surrounding area they would be more inclined to consider attending the university”.

The USG office by itself is located within the University and supports the games, hence the University investment and its objective in doing so has to analyze with the data collection. It will not be enough to check for satisfaction of athletes and parents alone, it will be necessary to understand how such satisfaction could transform into points of interest to join the University. Brand associations can be understood to be anything that a consumer perceives about a brand this makes brand and brand association a very complex multifaceted element. Brand associations are hence indeed formed by customer satisfaction and more. So measuring customer satisfaction as an objective is imperative, however, it is equally imperative to understand how this translates into better influx of students for the University as increased student recruitment is also one reason that the University invests in the games. So the researchers will have to include this objective in their research too, in order to make better recommendations. It is recommended that questions be asked to the participant in the manner of whether they think the Games experience increases their motivation towards joining Utah University for their future studies.
