In the modern times the workers are made to follow the orders of the capitalistic owners. There has been a number of theories that have been developed in order to address the inherent issues in these worker policies. There are a number of theories and proponents for capitalism. Nevertheless, the people are found to face issues in this system. The workers in this system seem to move toward the financial goals and pursuits. There is a growing ideology that supports individualism to collectivism (Watson, 2012).
Notion of altruism and greater good of the communities are found to be replaced by the notions of self growth and productivity. There is a need for productivity. However, this is found to fail in the societies. Purpose of this analysis is to look into the aspect as to how the workers in the modern day environment act to pursue the financial success. For this the theories propose by Weber and Durkheim has been explored.
There was redundancy in the system and there was no real innovation in the individual companies. This lead to stagnation of growth. Communism and worker policy proposed by Marx and Weber has led to stagnation of growth. There is an ambivalent stand taken by Durkheim. This focuses on the division and enabled the worker to developing the required skills.
In the current times, the workers are exploited by the capitalistic owners. There are inherent issues in capitalism but this is the only successful economics that has been followed in the current times. This has led to the redundancy of the system.
Hence there is a need for a new system that would benefit the society, individual workers and also the owners of the companies. Until then the people are found to follow the system that pursues economical gain.
Agricultural communities, industrial communities have found to increase their productivity owing to the increase in capitalistic ideologies. There is specialization and high levels of division of labour. This has contributed towards the growth of the societies but it has also caused to create a society where there is high levels of worker exploitation. Using the theories of Weber, Durkheim the importance of human capital and the worker has been divulged in this analysis. From this, the issues in capitalism have been pinpointed. Nevertheless, communistic ideals have caused complacency in the application and has caused the whole system to fail. There is a need for a newer system that would be functional for everyone in the society. Until that point of times it can be understood that the workers in the communities will pursue towards reaching the financial goals and the companies will be driven to reach financial objectives by exploiting the worker.
