The course of my association with the Women’s Studies has been very fascinating. To learn about the history of feminist struggle to attain equality in the social, political and academic world are source of great inspiration. However, I found the way knowledge is produced to be most intriguing area. Therefore I chose the topic of Feminist Research Methodology. The ongoing debate between qualitative and quantitative approach has formed the basis of my research. My research statement is ‘Objectivity of qualitative and quantitative approach of the Feminist Research Methodology ’.As the method of knowledge creation appealed to me I have started studying about the topic extensively. While my research in the topic I found out that among researchers of social sciences, the merits and demerits of quantitative and qualitative strategies has been a topic of great debate.
