Three predictions were reviewed by Shrauger and Schoeneman, 1979 on symbolic interactionism. These three predictions were inclusive firstly of the fact that self-perception of people and the perception of people on what others think about them are both such conceptions that involve substantial correspondence, secondly self-perception of people and actual perception of them from others perspectives demands to have a substantial correspondence to be present in between and thirdly, perception of people on the way others perceive them and the way people actually are perceiving them should also be substantially corresponding.
