They state that the experimentation is the most important technique and viable options cannot be deciphered by any other means (Bovenkerk & Verweij, 2015). However only if this procedure is completely stopped there will be other procedures developed. This is the argument made by the people who oppose animal testing. Within the current realms of technology there are some other option that are less invasive. Cell cultures in petri dish or in vitro testing can be viable options. Simulation models and digital developments can be used for virtual reconstructions of the molecular structures (Beauchamp, 2016). Possible toxicity can be derived form this analysis. Micro dosing in consenting adults can be another alternative. Integrated efforts can be done to create viable options that would benefit all the stakeholders. These efforts would lead to the eventual displacement of animal testing and they will be more accurate than the current process deployed by the people. This would lead to the eventual benefit for all the people.
Hence complete banning of this testing method would cause the imperative which need to increase focus on other viable alternatives. These would lead to the creation of efficient methods that will actually benefit the people. Animal testing is not effective as it has been advertised. There are other viable options which are cheaper that can be developed with the current technology. The expenses for animal testing are higher when compared to the other technology. The people are found to have varying results when it is deemed safe for animals. These animal testing results are thus not accurate. It is expensive and used for frivolous cosmetic development. Only by banning this technology other forms of research can emerge. Even if all these factors are not considered the ethical aspect of the research needs to take precedence in a civilized society. From an ethical standpoint, unwarranted torture of animals for no real need must not be sanctioned in the society. To conclude, this are the reasons to ban animal testing.
