The above mentioned developmental plan will enable me to work on my weaknesses and make sure that these do not become hindrances in my career. As I seek to work in a business manager position, coping up with these points is vital. In a highly competitive world, managers with adequate skills are able to sustain while those who do not have the required skills fail in the long run. Also, it is believed that practice makes a man perfect so doing adequate practice to strengthen these skills is also mandatory. It should be noted that courses can only work as catalyst and requires self-practice to a great extent. Hence, this is the overall action plan which is to be followed for next 3-4 months.
Overall, it can be concluded that developing an efficient assessment plan is vital for the overall success of an individual. An effective plan is able to help us know our weaknesses and strengths well. As per this plan, I am weak in three key areas such as public speaking, English fluency and coping with situations. In order to cope with these situations, it has been suggested that I should enroll in a course which trains me in two skills i.e. public speaking and language fluency. These three skills are vital to hold a managerial position in future and should be coped with effectively.
